Eczema and jaundice with Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb.

Curcuma xanthorriza Roxb. is herbaceous plant an annual. Height of about 0.5 to 2.5 meters, pseudo stems, made up some leaves. The leaves are dark green striped brown, elongated lancet-shaped. The flowers are short and wide, growing on a regular basis. Flower colour mixed white with or pale yellow colour of red. Rhizome large, pungent and bitter the sting. This medicinal plant commonly grown in areas with an altitude of 0-1800 feet above sea level.

Substances contained in the curcuma xanthorriza Roxb, among other things: essential oils, curcumin, camphor, glucosidal, phellandrene, turmerol, myrcene, xanthorrihizol, isofuranogermacreene, p-tolyletycarbinol, flour.


Medicinal herb curcuma xanthorriza Roxb to health:
Jaundice, fever, malaria and constipation: rhizome grated and squeezed the water, then drink.


Eczema: prepare the rhizomes and kawak acid. Cook these ingredients with 2 cups water and add a little sugar. After boiling water and remaining ingredients 1 cup. Strain and drink the potion while warm. This herbal treatment is done every day for a month. 


Cleanse the blood: rhizome thinly sliced and dried until dry. Rhizome is brewed with warm water, then drink. May add sugar if too bitter.


Warning: people with kidney problems should not take this herb as it can be dangerous
