Herbal Treatment of Melena


Melena is spending feces or stools that are black as tar and contain blood that has been digested. Feces may look like a shiny, smelly, and sticky.

Melena color depending on the length of the relationship between blood by gastric acid, the size of the hemorrhage, bleeding speed, location and movement of intestinal bleeding.


Melena is usually caused by presence of lesions or bleeding in the stomach or intestines. Peptic ulcers, hemorrhoids, dysentery, and drinking too much alcohol can also cause bloody bowel movements.

60 grams of fresh urang aring, and 25 grams of saffron (cut into pieces). Wash all ingredients, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drink 2 times a day.

Kremek 30-60 grams of fresh, and enough chicken meat. Wash all the ingredients, boil with enough water until cooked chicken meat. Drinking water and food ingredients.

9 grams of dry wood cup, and 30 grams of earrings. Wash all ingredients, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drinking water 2 times a day.

30 grams of plant gondola, and 15 grams of gotu kola. Wash all ingredients, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drink 2 times a day.

30 grams of spinach with thorns, and 15 grams of guava leaves. Wash all ingredients, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drink 2 times a day.

10-15 leaves of pineapple shells or flower petals 30-50, 15 grams of violet leaf, and palm sugar to taste. Wash all ingredients, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drinking water 2 times a day.
